Accounting is a structural division of the non-profit joint-stock company "M.H.Dulati Taraz Regional University". The accounting department is headed by the chief accountant and functions according to the departments of the types of activities of the work performed: the department of payroll accounting, the department of financing and scholarship provision, the department of accounting for fixed assets and materials, the department for work with students.

The main tasks are accounting, control and analysis of the economic activities of the university:

• Ensuring the correct and effective use of labor and money allocated from the budget of the republic, as well as from extra-budgetary funds of the university.
• Control over the timely receipt of funds for the training of the contingent on a paid basis.
• Ensuring control over the availability and movement of property, the use of material, labor and financial resources, in accordance with approved norms, standards, estimates.
• Timely prevention of negative phenomena of economic and financial activities and mobilization of on-farm resources.
• Maintaining tax and statistical records in accordance with regulatory documents and providing accounting reports to higher relevant authorities within the established time frame.
