MISSION

The implementation of the mission of the Department of Ecology and Life Safety consists in the training of highly qualified, competitive personnel who meet domestic and international criteria in the field of life safety, labor protection, ecology and environmental protection, have special deep knowledge, business competence, systemic thinking and a wide professional outlook.

Educational – training of highly qualified, competitive personnel capable of ensuring safe working conditions, safety of life at work, professional skills in the field of ecology and environmental protection, providing deep theoretical knowledge and practical experience sufficient for successful activity in the labor market.

Scientific – identification, accumulation and systematization of new scientific knowledge to ensure the progressive development of science in the field of life safety, fire safety, labor protection and in the field of ecology and environmental protection.

Organizational – strengthening and expanding scientific and technical ties between science, education and production.

Educational – patriotic education of future specialists to form an elite scientific, intellectual and cultural environment in the country.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Since September 18, 2023, the department has been called «Ecology and Life Safety» in connection with the merger of the two departments «Ecology» and «Life Safety» and the head of the department, Ph.D., associate professor (associate professor) Omarbekova M.

Currently, the department employs 2 professors, 8 candidates of sciences, 2 PhD doctors, 9 masters and 2 training and support personnel. Teachers of the department constantly improve their qualifications and undergo an internship at the RSU «Department of Ecology in the Zhambyl Region of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan» and the Department of Emergency Situations of the Zhambyl Region.The department is proud of its graduates: D.
