Foreign Scholars Familiarize Themselves with the Work of the Branch of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology in Taraz

On December 3, 2024, the branch of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology in Kazakhstan, located at the University of Dulaty, hosted foreign scholars from Indonesia and Malaysia.

Professors Amun Amri and Nur Islami from the University of Riau (Indonesia), as well as Professors Ruwaida Asikin Binti Abu Talip and Hairul Azhar Bin Jumbrie from the Petronas Technology University (Malaysia), were invited to the University of Dulat as part of the program "Attracting Foreign Scholars and Experts from Leading Universities Worldwide to Teaching Activities in Higher and Postgraduate Education Organizations."

During the visit, Sholpan Yessimova, the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization of the University of Dulaty, introduced the foreign guests to the work of the branch of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology.

Furthermore, the branch staff presented the scientific projects actively being developed in the university's laboratories. Among them are educational projects in the field of chemical engineering, environmental protection, and the development of new technologies for industry. A significant part of the visit was devoted to discussing opportunities for further collaboration, as well as the integration of international scientific initiatives and knowledge exchange.

This visit marked an important step in expanding international partnerships and scientific cooperation, opening new perspectives for both the University of Dulaty and the branch of the D.I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology.
