Goals:
Carrying out work to protect students from the influence of destructive religious movements.
Responsibilities:
- drawing up a plan of activities and work of the center;
- explanation of state policy in the field of religion to deputy deans for educational work and curators of all faculties;
- taking measures to develop the spiritual immunities of students in order to prevent religious extremism and terrorism;
- formation of students' civic culture, active citizenship, promotion of their spiritual development, independence, development of opportunities for self-organization and self-development;
- organizing meetings of a regional outreach group in the field of religion with the participation of students with the involvement of religious experts;
- publication of articles on the pages of republican and regional newspapers and on portal sites in order to implement state policy in the field of religion;
- adaptation of religious views of students affected by destructive religious movements;
- work in close cooperation with the Department of Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the Zhambyl Region, the Center for the Study of Problems of Religion of the Akimat of the Zhambyl Region, with representatives of law enforcement agencies and the media;
- providing information about ongoing events on the page of the “Center for Religious Studies” located on the official website of the university;
- participation in the development of the university development strategy;
- participation in socio-political, cultural, educational and sports events;
- comply with the rules of internal labor discipline of the university, rules of labor protection and safety, industrial sanitation, fire safety;
- treat with care the spiritual and material values of the university and its structural divisions. Keeping your equipment and belongings clean and in good condition;
- not to disclose information containing state, official, commercial or other secrets protected by law that became known during the performance of official duties;
- continuously improve business skills through self-education and retraining through the course network;
- implementation of measures to achieve the strategic objectives of the university;
- comply with the requirements of the QMS.
