The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan organized an event dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat.

The event was attended by representatives of Kazakhstani universities and students. The participants of the celebration noted that the capital of Turkmenistan - Ashgabat, which has become a major business, cultural and recognized center of international cooperation, combines a successful model of a dynamically developing city. It harmoniously combines beauty and comfort, the latest architectural developments, the advanced achievements of engineering and technical thought and the traditions of the national architecture of the Turkmen people. Ashgabat was also included in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most white marble city in the world. Within the framework of the events, an online photo exhibition was organized on the theme: «Ashgabat - the white marble city of love».
